It’s spring and it’s time to buy your Llama Bean Tea Bags and make some nutrient rich "tea" for your houseplants, your potted plants and your outdoor garden. Llama and Alpaca beans are AKA llama poop! They look like coffee beans. The research I’ve done has told me that they are excellent fertilizers without having to compost. This fertilizer improves the soil quality and its ability to retain water. It is also good for plants, providing a good amount of nitrogen and potassium and about average levels of phosphorus. Our seedlings are growing and are doing so well with llama tea. We give it to them once a week in between watering. We started making Llama Tea bags and are selling and shipping them. The tea bags have 1 cup of llama beans in them that are clean and not full of hay or straw. The tea bag goes into a container containing 1 gallon of water and letting it sit for 24 to 48 hours until it’s tea colored. Then water your plants with the tea once or twice a week. Each llama tea bag can be used 2 or 3 times or until the brewing (sitting ) is clear. When the tea bag is used up you can open it and mix it in your soil. A set of 4 llama/alpaca bean tea bags are $20.00 Plus 6.00 shipping.
